- From 2009: A poet and artist, I've moved back and forth between using language and objects for a long time. The challenge? Creating something from nothing. But as there really is no such thing as nothing, I gather and redistribute. This goes for writing and object making. We (my sister Judi and I) got snowed in for two days out at my mother's while picking through and packing up the several million odds and ends of my mother's life. Watching the snow over the course of that blizzard was magical, and brought back childhood memories of growing up in NYC.
