- From 2009: A poet and artist, I've moved back and forth between using language and objects for a long time. The challenge? Creating something from nothing. But as there really is no such thing as nothing, I gather and redistribute. This goes for writing and object making. Thanks Rebecca for your comment the other day -- I've been routing around my photo files when not working on other projects (including paid work gigs) since I'd lost so many photos after changing over to Windows 7 -- trying to see if I can salvage some of the projects I had going ... still looking for the vegetable pairs I'd shot ... bear hug right back to you. Glad you're just about done with pneumonia & have new boots, to boot (another 2 pairs, of sorts.)
ReplyDeleteI was just watching Garp the movie and had to come look at your gloves which remind me of the gloves in Garp the movie in his short story where the man has the magic gloves and everything he touches his wife his children everyone are comforted by him but he can't feel anything for himself.
