a few days ago / hace poco días
With heat wave after heat wave and an oppresive white sky I thought these 4 views of the cathedral towers looked as if it had snowed. What interested me more were the varieties of protrusions reaching up -- from towers and spires to a tree to the weathervane. Everything praying for rain.
Con olas de calor, uno después otro y el cielo blanco y opresivo pensé que estos 4 vistas de los torres de la catedral parecía que había nevado. Lo que me interesaba más eran las variedades de protuberancias que alcanzan -- desde torres y chapiteles a un árbol y a la veleta. Todo rezaba por una lluvia.

Resulto que no tomaba fotos de todos los cuadros de donde pertenece los fotos anteriores de las manos ... pero aquí hay algunos cuadros (completos) de Manuel Gómez-Moreno González --
some information: the most important Granadan artist of the 19th century, he was a painter and an archeologist, a professor of the School of Arts and Crafts and professor of the School of Fine Arts in Granada; chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Alhambra and the Royal Chapel and considered to be the father of Granada’s archaeological and fine arts museums.
algunos datos: el mas importante artista granadino del siglo XIX, fue un pintor y arqueólogo español, profesor de la Escuela de Artes y Oficios y catedrático de la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Granada; presidente del Patronato de la Alhambra y del de la Capilla Real, considerado padre de los museos Arqueológico y del de Bellas Artes de Granada.
