- From 2009: A poet and artist, I've moved back and forth between using language and objects for a long time. The challenge? Creating something from nothing. But as there really is no such thing as nothing, I gather and redistribute. This goes for writing and object making. These are collective works, like anonymous architecture. I understand that people singularly or in a small group prowl NYC subways to selectively rip wall ads. And these? They are too mindful to be solely accidental. Did you participate before recording? I love this section. --Martha
