HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GAIL

                                
       Unfortunately my mother gave Gail the ugliest haircuts.     
                             

                     
                     but Gail grew up, grew her hair, made sculpture, made weavings, grew 

                                    plants, became a florist and blossomed.

 

This was taken at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, 1970s.

 Gail and Hamid opened their florist shop on Lexingotn Ave. in 1979, I think, and it closed in 2009. This photo was taken in February 2011.

March 5, 2011 is dedicated to my sister Gail.
